More about Pinc’s Community Psychoanalysis Track (CPT)
Beginning in 2016, alongside a group of institutional psychoanalysts and community mental health workers, I helped found the groundbreaking Community Psychoanalysis Track (CPT) at The Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California (PINC). This unique educational opportunity for candidates training in psychoanalysis expands the traditional dyadic psychoanalytic training model to incorporate thinking and working with groups and systems, and emphasizes listening to unconscious processes of the socio-cultural dimensions within which we are all embedded.
I currently serve as the co-chair of the Learning and Teaching Committee for the CPT Steering Committee, where I help develop curriculum, train supervisors, facilitate Theory Labs, and participate in the program’s multi-year strategic planning.
Nearing the end of it’s first decade, the Community Psychoanalysis Track at PINC continues to grow and expand its programming and projects within and beyond PINC. Please visit the Community Psychoanalysis Track website for more information.
